Turmeric & Ginger Tea


A few years ago, I was volunteering at a health food store and was introduced to this combination of tea.  Often, the owner had me try different organic or vegan foods she thought I might like.  At first, I couldn’t tell if I really enjoyed it, but after having in over the course of a few days, I found myself looking forward to it.

Around that same time, my husband had some health issues with his liver and inflammation and I thought this might be a good fit for him too.  I was very happy to find that after drinking this for over a month, with the addition of proper nutrition and exercise, he was able to detoxify his liver, reduce the inflammation in his body and lose over 40 pounds.

Turmeric, the main spice in curry, is arguably the most powerful herb on the planet at fighting and potentially reversing disease. Arguably, the most powerful aspect of curcumin is its ability to control inflammation. Ginger has a long history of use for relieving digestive problems such as nausea, loss of appetite, motion sickness and pain.

Just recently, I was in a car accident and experienced some whiplash in my neck and upper back.  I have been drinking this tea at night to help reduce the inflammation and pain. I have found with the use of this tea and my essential oils, the whiplash has healed very quickly without much pain.
